Photo of the Day: Happy Thanksgiving!

When I visited Tudor Place a few years ago, it was the Sunday after Thanksgiving (i.e. the first day of Advent) – the one day that sort of overlaps Thanksgiving season and Christmas season. The objects on display inside included historical Thanksgiving as well as Christmas cards. Outside, there were wreaths on the gate and leaves on the ground.

I loved Tudor Place. The Pierce Arrow! George Washington’s camp stool! When i first came to DC, I would see Mr. Peter out in that car, usually on some errand in Georgetown.
