Favorite Museum Photos: Chandeliers

I like to stand under chandeliers and photograph them. These two photos are both from Weekly Museum Visits.

In other news, yesterday my paralegal class took a field trip to the US District Court for the District of Columbia and watched a morning of proceedings, including a case that related to museums and returning sacred documents to their rightful country and owners. It’s always interesting to see the overlaps between the two fields of study.

About Laura

Paralegal with Master of Arts in Teaching in Museum Education, frequent museum visitor, based in Washington, DC. I care about what museums can do, both in terms of public offerings and internal practices, to make the world a better place. I blog about museum education ("informed"), the social work of museums ("humane"), and visitor experience ("citizenry").
