Ends and Beginnings

It is time for Weekly Museum Visits Part Two to come to an end. I am about to begin a second part-time job as a Museum Aide and Program Aide at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, Stabler-Leadbeater Apothecary Museum, Historic Alexandria History Center and Museum Store, and Friendship Firehouse Museum.  Although my hours at these museums and the Newseum will vary from week to week, I hope that between the two jobs, the average week will have 40 hours. This new schedule won’t leave so much time to dedicate to visiting and blogging about a new museum every week. Of course, I will still blog about museums as I work in them and read about them and, when I can, visit them for fun.

The past 21 weeks since my full-time seasonal job ended have involved visiting museums, memorials, an arboretum, and religious and historic sites. I made a word cloud of the 21 blog posts I wrote about these 21 destinations.
